An equation that is not as hard as some make it out to seem.
When I am intimate with a mature-aged-man for the first time, the sex is often prefaced with explanations as to why they can’t get an erection, and assurances that it used to work well before – none of which I have ever asked for. Later, they will tell me that men like me, who don’t put such monumental value on a small part of both their body and the sex with them, are rare to come by.
This highlights the sexual practice which appears to be shared by many men of a hyper-focused tunnel vision towards genitalia. I would argue (put a drink in my hand and I’ll do it!) that any such sex lost is not worth lamenting over, particularly because the best lovers I’ve ever had do not comprise such a group.
Don’t just take it from me. Manuel Lucas Matheu, one of the world’s highest regarded sexologists, coming from the world’s possibly sexiest country, who I’ve already referenced before on this website, ratifies this idea by identifying our skin in general as our key sexual organ, as you can see at the end of this translated article here.
Really, if you are good in the sack and appreciate the person you are with, then your ideas of intimacy will not be limited by a lacking erection, nor the ways you have of practicing intimacy greatly reduced. The same goes for a fixation on size. This shift all involves a move away from getting hung up on certain details, like an asshole, and seeing a man as a whole.
Also, for men who experience erectile dysfunction, as is very normal with age/following prostate problems or something of the like, you have to know: when I am with an older man, I am not expecting him to perform like a 25 year old jack hammer. If anybody does expect that, they are a waste of time. As someone sexually interested solely in mature-age men (no 25 year old jack hammers for me thank you), I know what is potentially involved in that package (pun intended)! And as John Lennon said (probably in a different context, but still) “I see no problems, only solutions”.
To give you something to (hopefully) laugh about, I’d like to leave you with the varying experiences in the 1st minute of this video.
Also, here are some Leonard Cohen lyrics worth your perusal:
Well you tell me that your lover has a broken limb.
You say you’re kind of restless now, and it’s on account of him.
Well I saw the man in question, it was just the other night.
He was eating up a lady where the lions and Christians fight!
I hope this blog post has some good effect on you as a reader, and any comment you wish to leave below will be gladly received! All the best
